Wisdom Weekend - Forest Path Ceremonies - Jul 5 & 6 - Santa Barbara, CA

We offer our signature ceremonies to serve as a ground for healing, learning, illumination and transformation.

This special weekend we have been invited once more by close friends to Santa Barbara, California, to offer a Wisdom Weekend of Forest Path Ceremonies.

We have hosted and guided these rituals for several years and served thousands of glasses of sacrament to people from all walks of life. With this type of work, it is important for everyone involved to always seek to uphold a high standard of integrity, safety and awareness with regards to the individual and the community at large.

We take care in all areas we see fit and encourage those looking for an experience to look a little deeper as it is not always enough to seek peak experiences or quick fixes. Ours is a humble path of the Forest and of the heart. Our altar is one of deep prayer, communion and contemplation. People who work with us come to study and learn the path or simply to receive the work that is done. We encourage individuals to be well informed, in good health and equipped with some basic meditation and awareness practices before navigating these spaces with us.

Arrival will be 4pm to the center, and ceremonies will run from approximately 5pm-1am each night. We will close each night with soup, and then share a potluck style breakfast each morning. On the final morning we will have an integration circle before saying goodbye.

Notes specific to this location;

ACCOMMODATION: Sleeping in the carpeted ceremony space as well as another large separate area  (with your own bedding) at the end of ceremony(s). You can use your ceremony mat for sleeping on & bring blanket(s) and pillow for sleeping. Camping in the garden is also an option. You can also choose to find a nearby B&B for sleeping and resting during weekend.

Bring pillow, pad to sit or lie on NO WIDER THAN 25 INCH yoga or camping mat plus blankets, etc. PLEASE NO LARGE mattresses or chairs. Unfortunately, they take up too much space. All bags & personal items will need to be stored outside the ceremony room during the work

FOOD: Hot soup will be provided and available at the end of each evening ceremony. We will ask that you bring POT LUCK style breakfast items with you to share, we will prepare a list of items for you to assign yourself closer to the time.

FRAGRANCES: Please note the Temple is a chemical fragrance/perfume free Zone. In an effort to limit exposure to toxic fragrance chemicals including commercial Agua de Florida as it is chemically based, our hosts are urging everyone coming to ceremony to try not to bring these chemicals into the space whether it is through a cologne or perfume you are used to wearing, or clothes that have been washed or dried with strongly “fragranced” products. This means examining what you currently use and hopefully avoiding common perfumes and colognes, dryer sheets and chemically scented detergents whose chemicals linger in the clothes they have been washed with. 

True essential oils have wonderful health benefits and are very welcome in the space!
