  • $250.00 – Ceremony - temple accommodations

We are honoured to invite our dear sister and mentor Ananda to hold space for ceremony supported by Keenan and Stef of our Forest Path family team.

Ananda holds Ayahuasca Ceremonies in a Shipibo style setting, meaning it’s held in the dark and predominantly guided by Icaros (tribal prayers) and held with Arcanas (protective shields). After several hours of Icaros, which are accompanied mostly by the sound of the Shacapa (leaf bundle), there is a transition to medicine music, which will often be accompanied by the guitar and sometimes other western instruments. Ceremony usually lasts 6 to 8 hours after which we will share a light meal before sleeping in the Temple.

The following morning plant baths will be available, a wonderful way to cleanse ourselves of any lingering energy. After a family breakfast, we will have a sharing circle to process our experiences from the previous night. The sharing circle concludes our time together. For those who would like additional support for their integration, additional resources will be provided.

Lead Facilitator Bio:

CJ Ananda is the co-founder of Present Moment Retreat, The Kula Collective and Casa Kula. She facilitates shamanic cleanses, ceremonies, yoga trainings and transformational retreats, giving each person the heartfelt attention and guidance that cultivates profound healing, and expansive experiences. As a facilitator, she sees each of her offerings as an opportunity to hold sacred ceremonial space that supports our collective evolution.

Integrating her teachings and passions, Ananda uses a process of intentional-based healing that draws upon the philosophy that we are all a part of a collective life force that is driving us towards greater consciousness. Her vision is that of humanity coming into alignment with the unified purpose of awakening. She works with her clients to explore their gifts and deepen their relationship with Spirit, and holds a personal intention to magnify the brilliance of this life’s experience.

Ananda lives on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala where she and her husband, Coby live in loving community, with the spirits of the land, sharing music, meditation, movement and honoring the medicinal wisdom of plants. This life and lifestyle is her greatest Joy!
